Designed within a convenient 1U, ½ rack chassis measuring just 1.7” tall, it is compact enough to hide behind the latest thin displays or in any additional zone in the home. AudioControl Introduces Mounting Accessories for the New Bijou 600 Integrated Zone Amplifier/DAC

Allows for compact, hidden, faster, easier audio installations and improved aesthetics

SEATTLE, WA.–April 14, 2015–AudioControl, the Seattle-based audio design leader, is now shipping new installation accessories for their Bijou 600 Integrated Zone Amplifier/DAC offering installers outstanding installation flexibility, further enhancing the capabilities of the Consumer Electronics Association’s 2015 Audio Product of the Year. These new accessories solve mounting challenges while also improving aesthetics and ensuring great viewing flexibility. The high-power Bijou 600 Zone Amplifier/DAC is a tailor-made performance partner for adding additional audio zones to the home and boosting the output of TVs, soundbars, streaming audio and gaming environments. These new features add to AudioControl’s inventory of next generation of architectural, network, multi-zone and compact zone, high-performance power amplifiers and accessories exclusively for the custom residential and professional audio markets.

The Bijou RM-209 1U Single Rack Mount Kit is comprised of two custom end plates and a single space filler plate to mount the Bijou 600 into a 1U rack space allowing it to be positioned virtually flush with the surface.

The Bijou RM-210 Dual Rack Mount Kit is comprised of two custom end plates plus two middle joining plates to lock two Bijou 600s together in a 1U rack space. Multiple Bijou 600’s can be installed and with the cool running aspects of the product, no spacing is required between rows of Bijou 600’s installed inside rack systems.

The Bijou RM-211 1U mounting brackets consist of two mounting ears to allow the Bijou 600 to be installed on walls or other fixtures where the Bijou 600 requires flat mounting in confined spaces.

The Bijou RM-212 In-Wall Back Box features an intuitive in-wall box with a rear panel mount behind the display and allows for absolutely hidden installation. It uses both metal and plastic electrical boxes as well as a removable trim ring to fit in both retrofit and new construction applications up to ¾” wallboard.

The Bijou RM-213 Component Mounting Plate fits a large 9” x 11”, 50-400mm VESA mount, ideal for attaching the Bijou 600 to the back of a slimline television.

AudioControl “Pumps Up The Volume” With The Director Series Network Amplifiers

New Volume Control Functions Added To The Director® Series Amplifiers Compliments Industry Leading Signal Processing Capabilities

Seattle, WA; December 17, 2014 – AudioControl has announced a number of exciting new feature additions to their industry leading multi-channel amplifiers, The Director Model D3400 and Model D4400, that allows users to discretely control the volume levels of selected channels. New software enabled features provide integrators with a number of pre-amplifier capabilities that further expand the capabilities of The Director Series and make it an even more powerful distributed audio amplifier:

Summary Of Key Feature Additions To The Director Series

  • Ability to increase and decrease volume levels incrementally in each zone
  • Set volume level on a per group basis
  • Set a default “Maximum On Volume” function
  • Program query commands to identify current known volume status of zones and alerts

The AudioControl Director Model D3400 and D4400 network amplifiers are category leading products with flexible digital signal processing that supports graphic and parametric equalization filters for each zone, crossover functions, memory locations along with complete network monitoring of mute status and temperature. The amplifiers are rated at 65 watts per channel (D3400) and 100 watts per channel (D4400) respectfully at 8 ohms but can also be bridged for increased power level and are stable into low impedances.

These new volume controls are now included with all The Director series amplifiers, effective immediately. Command protocols for The Director series are available on the AudioControl website or directly thru 3rd party control companies.

AudioControl Launches New HDBaseT Extenders for the Custom Integration Channel Including Optional HDBaseT Upgrade for the Maestro M8 Processor

Seattle, WA – November 11th, 2014 – AudioControl has launched its new range of HDBaseT™ extenders to the custom installation market complementing its highly successful audio-video-extender product line-up. AudioControl’s new HDBaseT extender package consists of the HDBT-S1™ Sender and the HDBT-R1™ Receiver, both sold independently or combined into a complete set-package called the HDBT-SR1. All models are available for immediate shipping worldwide.

In addition, AudioControl is the first company to offer an optional HDBaseT port factory-upgrade for its highly acclaimed Maestro M8 Surround Sound Processor. Seattle, WA – September 1st, 2014 – The Director® Model M6400 Matrix amplifier from AudioControl is the first of its kind and one of the most intelligent, flexible amplifiers available for the custom-install market. The Director Model M6400, part of AudioControl’s new Matrix M-Series builds upon the success of AudioControl’s ‘The Director’ D-Series driving sixteen channels of high-power amplification in a 2U chassis that delivers 65 watts per channel at 8 Ohms, 100 watts per channel at 4 Ohms and 175 watts at 8 Ohm bridged, all channels driven. The M6400 features on-board digital signal processing, graphic and parametric equalization by zone, network monitoring, and programming plus the addition of Volume Control, channel/zone grouping and zone audio presets. It also allows individual channel and zone selection via standard TCIP, the ability to bridge into low impedances while delivering incredible power and AudioControl’s legendary audio performance.

The Director® is always in control, communicating with the network and producing great audio. The Director Model M6400 harnesses the power of DSP processing to enable full matrix flexibility of any input to any output. The matrixing capabilities of the Director M series allow any of eight analog or two digital inputs to be routed to any zone output. The Director Model M6400 includes two digital SPDIF inputs plus two SPDIF outputs that are included in the matrixing so that any one of the input sources can be routed through the digital outputs. These digital outputs can be connected to Director M series digital inputs so that multiple amplifiers can receive any signal from any inputs from any of the amplifiers. The Director Model M6400 has the benefit of operating either as a standalone matrix-amplifier or as part of a 3rd party control systems from companies including Crestron, Savant or Control 4.

The Director Model M6400 is available in brushed stainless steel or black finish and is designed, engineered and manufactured in the rainforest of the Northwest somewhere North of Seattle! The Director M6400 also comes with AudioControl’s standard 5-year warranty and is available exclusively to the residential custom-install and Pro-Audio market.
