INDUSTRY SCHOOLS LAUNCH NEW ASSOCIATION

Industry trade schools including Installer Institute, Acoustic Edge and Mobile Dynamics have recently announced the formation of a new association. MESA (Mobile Electronics Schools Association) is operated by member schools in an effort to oversee the quality of education in the consumer electronics industry.

The association has developed standards by which all member schools operate. These standards are designed to ensure relevant, real world work preparatory programs for the thousands of mobile electronics enthusiasts that dream of a career in mobile electronics. 

In addition, MESA has also announced the launch of the industries first certification program that includes practical exams. All member schools now offer MESA Certification at no additional cost. MESA certification involves both written exams and practical hands on testing. “Our goal is to best prepare our grads for their new career in car audio”. States Tom Gazda manager of Mobile Dynamics. “ I am confident that store owners hiring MESA certified graduates will see the value of this new certification immediately.”
