Rat Cable Tester

The Rat Cable Tester Easily Sniffs Out Problems

Pocket Size to be Handy Always

Mountlake Terrace, WA -- AudioControl Industrial, a recognized leader in audio measurement equipment announces a new, patent pending set of XLR cable testers. The Rat testers are pocket sized and can easily check XLR cables even those where each cable end is in a different location.

The Rat Pack is composed of two small pieces, the Sniffer and the Sender. The Sniffer works on either phantom power or power supplied by the Sender. The Sniffer shows the cable is good or has faults via three two-color green and red LEDs. The Sender is battery powered and only supplies power when hooked to the Sniffer insuring long battery life.

"Our biggest problem in field testing of The Rat has been getting the samples back out of people’s hands" says Tom Walker AudioControl Industrial president. "With The Rat, it takes only seconds to find out whether the problem is the cable or the microphone when on-stage for example."

Very compact at 5/8" diameter by 3" and 5" respectively, The Rat Sniffer and Sender are sold as a set as well as separately. They are now shipping with a price of $24.95 for the Sniffer alone and $49.95 for the Rat Pack of the Sniffer and the Sender.
