AudioControl’s Architect Model 1160 Receives Award

Mountlake Terrace, WA – AudioControl’s new Architect Model 1160 multi-zone amplifier was the proud recipient of an "Excite" Award from CustomRetailer magazine during the recently held CEDIA Expo in Denver. The 16-channel amplifier, which just began shipping in September, is garnering a healthy dose of attention because it is the first multi-zone amplifier to squeeze 16-channels into only 3 rack spaces while avoiding digital topology.

The 3-rack high Architect Model 1160 multi-zone amplifier debuted at CEDIA Expo in September, replacing the 4-rack high Architect Model 960 multi-zone amplifier, and began shipping a week later. It maintains the features that have made award winners of other Architect multi-zone amplifiers, including a Class H topology, AudioControl’s exclusive LightDrive Anti-clipping Circuitry, custom-contoured EQ control, Ethernet connectivity for networking (optional Model 1161), and dual-bussed inputs.
Each year, CustomRetailer magazine recognizes those products that are encouraging growth within the home electronics industry. The "Excite" awards are announced during the CEDIA Expo, and published in the November issue of CustomRetailer.
