The Maestro M2e home theater pre-amplifier is the new foundation for the Perfection Theater System. It unites the high-end audio processing of the Maestro M2 with AudioControl's revolutionary Active Balanced Technology (ABT), sending hi-definition video signals up to 1000 feet over Standard Cat-5 Wire. Sophisticated sound processing, including Dolby Pro Logic IIx, opens the door to 7 channel surround environments.
With HDMI switching and the ability to pass Composite and S-video signals through the Component outputs, the Maestro M2e can handle the video needs of any performance home theater. Balanced and unbalanced outputs provide audiophile-quality sound reproduction. The RS-232 serial port provides a way for the Maestro M2e home theater pre-amplifier to integrate with external control units, using over 100 direct control commands. Combine this with AudioControl's "Bulletproof" 5-Year Warranty and the Maestro M2e home theater processor will stand the test of time.
Active Balanced Technology (ABT) outputs Hi-Def video signals in a noise-rejecting balanced format, carrying signals much further than standard video cables. ABT is an actively powered video delivery technology, able to overcome signal losses inherent in longer cable runs (up to 1000 feet). The signals are carried over easy-to-run Cat-5 wire to a receiving unit (AudioControl's BVR-25 or BVR-20), where they are converted back to component video for universal integration with Hi-Def projectors and displays.
