Maestro Takes Lead In Audiophile Audio and Broadcast Quality Video Performance

Mountlake Terrace, WA: AudioControl Industrial proudly introduces the Maestro, a 7.1 channel, THX Ultra 2 certified, pre-amp theater processor. This recent addition to the AudioControl Industrial family of high performance products is designed to be used in surround sound applications demanding only the best audio and video processing. The Maestro also includes numerous features that make it an ideal choice for automation system applications.

"AudioControl Industrial has released a steady stream of unique products that cater directly to the contractor market", commented company President, Tom Walker. "The Maestro theater processor is a natural product addition to enable our dealers to deliver an unsurpassed surround experience."

The Maestro is laden with features that make it ideal for use in high performance theaters and corporate applications. Beginning with a THX Ultra 2 certified processor, the Maestro boasts processing power that supports all of the major audio surround formats; Dolby Digital, THX Surround EX, Dolby Pro Logic II, DTS, DTS NEO, DTS ES Matrix and discrete 6.1 decoding. In addition an eight channel direct analog input is provided for use with DVD-A and SACD sources to allow for audiophile-caliber performances.

For video the Maestro offers an exceptional 300 MHz of bandwidth! The Maestro performs at the same level as broadcast studio switching and is ideal for high definition applications. Multiple video inputs and outputs allow for use of component, S-Video, and composite video signals including optical inputs.

An RS-232 serial port on the Maestro serves a dual role first for a separate automation system controlling the theater processor and, second, for downloading of any future software upgrades. The Maestro has an extensive and complete RS-232 protocol library with over 100 direct control commands allowing a system programmer maximum control over almost every Maestro function.

For control room monitoring, there are second zone audio and video outputs. With these, an operator may listen and view the same or a different source in another room/zone at different volume levels than the main zone.

Celebrating their Silver 25th anniversary in 2002, AudioControl Industrial has been designing and manufacturing the highest quality audio components in the United States since 1977.
