AudioControl will be unveiling its new series of high-power multi-channel distributed audio amplifiers, the Architect ‘P’ Series at the CEDIA 2015 EXPO in Dallas from October 14th-17th, booth #4628. The new Architect Performance ‘P’ series represents the latest addition to AudioControl’s highly successful Architect multi-channel amplifier line-up. The Architect ‘P’ Series superbly complements AudioControl’s popular high-power Architect multi-zone amplifier series with an industry leading 100 Watts per channel solution, skillfully engineered into a 2U Chassis. These new models are available with 12 or 16-channels and are designed and manufactured in the USA exclusively for the custom-installation market. Both models are available with or without AudioControl’s legendary equalization controls depending on the needs of the project.

The Architect ‘P’ Series deliver over 100 watts per channel RMS into 8 ohms, 200 watts per channel RMS into 4 ohms; all channels driven. Additional adjoining channels can be bridged to output over 400 watts RMS. The Architect ‘P’ Series uses a cool running proprietary design, including AudioControl’s LightDrive™ anti-clipping protection, input bussing capability, output pass-thru, master 12v trigger in/out plus local 12v trigger inputs on all zones, signal sensing as well as introducing additional digital inputs through a SPDIF input for digital sources.

The Architect ‘P’ series is available in a robust espresso black coffee finish and is designed, engineered and manufactured in the rainforest of the Pacific Northwest somewhere North of Seattle!

AudioControl has announced four new Architect ‘P’ Series models. These models are the Architect P2680 EQ (16 Channels, 100w, Equalization), the Architect P2660 (16 Channels, 100w), the Architect P2280 EQ (12 Channels, 100w, Equalization), the Architect P2260 (16 Channels, 100w).

Behind the striking contemporary visual design, the Concert AVR-9 and AVR-7 benefit from the high-end audio performance that AudioControl is renowned for. The AVR-9’s powerful high-current 7 x 200 watts per channel theater amplifier creates a truly incredible audio platform that turns watching a movie in your living room, media space or theater into a movie lover’s ‘nirvana’. The Concert AVR-7 also benefits from the same high performing audio and video platform as the Concert AVR-9, powering its seven-channel amplifier at 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Both the AVR-7 and AVR-9 benefit from four high-performance Dolby Atmos pre-amp outputs. Users can drive the Dolby Atmos channels using the high-power amplification contained inside the Concert AVR’s and also add additional power utilizing AudioControl’s high-power 2-channel Bijou 600 or Rialto 600 amplifiers as the perfect Dolby Atmos amplifier.

AudioControl Gives More Control to The Director™ Series Network Amplifiers

New Control4 Driver For The Director Amplifiers Provides Increased Flexibility

Seattle, WA; July 16, 2015 – AudioControl has announced the availability of a dedicated Control4 driver for their industry leading multi-channel amplifiers, The Director™ Model D3400 and Model D4400.  This new Control4 driver allows users to discretely control key functions of The Director™ amplifiers when they are used in conjunction with a Control4 controller. This further expands the capabilities of The Director™ series as one of the most powerful, flexible Network amplifiers available exclusively to the Custom Installation market.

Summary Of Control4 Driver Functions

  • Discrete Power Functions
  • Ability to increase and decrease volume levels incrementally across each zone plus muting functions
  • Increase volume level on a zone of across multiple zones on a per group basis

The AudioControl Director™ Model D3400 and D4400 network amplifiers are category leading amplifiers with flexible digital signal processing that support graphic and parametric equalization filters for each zone, crossover functions, memory locations along with complete network monitoring of mute status and temperature and other custom alerts. The amplifiers are rated at 65 watts per channel (D3400) and 100 watts per channel (D4400) respectfully at 8 ohms (200 watts at 4 ohms) and can also be bridged up to 400 watts to further increase power levels and are stable into low impedances.
