SEATTLE, Wash. – AudioControl, the Seattle-based audio design leader, is now shipping their new high power integrated zone amplifier Bijou 600, winner of the Consumer Electronics Association’s 2015 Audio Product of the Year Award. This compact zone amplifier with built-in DAC is a tailor-made performance partner for adding additional audio zones to the home and boosting the output of TVs, soundbars, streaming audio and gaming environments.

We believe that as leaders in the trend of compact, yet powerful technology is in part what led CEA’s panel of experts to distinguish the Bijou 600 as the year’s best audio product,” said Alex Camara, CEO for AudioControl. “Our Rialto 400’s success built upon AudioControl’s reputation for producing high-performing compact zone-amplifiers. The Bijou 600 and our entire lineup of performance amplifiers are the next level answer to the question being asked throughout home audio: ‘Can it look great and sound even greater?’”

Both the Rialto 600 and the Bijou 600 offer installer-friendly features including switchable inputs (including analog, digital coax, digital optical), combined with variable volume control circuitry controllable via discrete IR or RS232 commands. Both models add the ability to control source selection, volume functions, and AccuBASS™ via the included remote control or automation commands.
